Corrugated sheeting should always overlap by a minimum of one corrugation, this can be known as side laps. When overlapping corrugated sheeting its advised you use cladco lapping tape. You should never walk on polycarbonate roofing unless it’s well-supported underneath. While polycarbonate roofing can sustain a lot of abuse, it’s not meant to support the weight of a person. The surface is slippery and you will likely fall. Further, you can dent and scratch it if you walk on it.

How do you attach polycarbonate sheets to a greenhouse roof?

Use screws with neoprene bonded washers to fasten polycarbonate to greenhouse. Use ½″ washers with corrugated polycarbonate and 1″ washers with triple wall polycarbonate. Do not fasten screws within ½″ of the edge of a polycarbonate sheet. When fastening screws, do not tighten below the surface of the panel.
