The Meg’ is exactly what it promises to be with plenty of exciting shark attacks but with lots of scary moments of suspense, jump scares and some deaths, we recommend this movie for kids aged 10 and over.

There is not TOO much Violence. The worst part is when Lori gets Impelled by a screw driver. Jonas also did some damage to the meg. If blood scares you, DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE.
Does the MEG have inappropriate scenes?
Nothing explicit is shown. Two characters joke and laugh about the word “insertion”, to which a female character asks, “is everything sexual with you guys?” The scene is quick but easy to understand, meaning even children will question it.

While 2018 shark blockbuster The Meg was a financial success, simply increasing the rating from PG-13 to R could’ve helped it be much more satisfying.
